What it does

Editing

Crop and resize: Change image framing and dimensions.
Borders: Add white, black or custom borders.
Text: Place captions and annotations directly on an image.
Collage: Arrange several images in one layout.

Export

Format choice: Choose an image format and quality; AVIF appears when supported.
Overwrite original: Save over one supported image original in its existing format with browser permission; replacement is permanent.

Sessions and history

Saved sessions: Autosave edits and keep, restore or delete named projects in this browser.
Reconnect originals: Resume with your original files; saved projects store edits and file references.
Undo: Undo the last five editing operations.

Privacy

Local processing: Process source files on your device without uploading them.
Remembering data: Choose whether to save new sessions and settings in this browser.
Clear local data: Remove saved site data across all tools while keeping disk originals and downloaded exports.

More control over local files, photo edits, and timeline cuts

The latest PrivateTools changes make repeated edits easier: save directly to supported originals, work through a RAW shoot with a connected folder, use conversion controls that follow your file, and see exactly where a timeline action will happen. Browser data is now easier to manage across the site.
